CLARKS SUMMIT, PA, October 1, 2020 – Site2 today announced it has acquired the cloud services business from RackTop Systems, Inc. a data security company. The acquisition expands Site2’s private cloud services and will provide the foundation for a new, cybersecurity cloud architected following a Zero Trust security model that protects data from ransomware, detects insider threats, and facilitates meeting complex data privacy and regulatory compliance requirements.

RackTop’s cloud was built to run on the award-winning BrickStor SP data security platform, engineered by U.S. intelligence community veterans to meet Federal data privacy mandates.  With integrated offerings to the Amazon public cloud, the expanded Site2 Cloud will provide an all-in-one data storage and management platform protecting against cyberattacks, insider threats and malware, eliminating the need for organizations to hire and maintain a staff of security experts.

“The incorporation of the RackTop cloud business into the Site2 Cloud will offer our clients unprecedented cloud security and compliance simplicity,” said Marc Gonzalez, Chief Operating Officer with Site2. “This acquisition enriches our cloud ecosystem and complements our growing Amazon partnership.  We are thrilled to welcome the RackTop cloud into the Site2 family.”

“We are excited about this transaction and partnership because it offers our customers an option to leverage cloud services running on BrickStor SP; provided by a company that is focused on managed services for security, risk management and compliance. And, as companies begin their journey to the cloud they will benefit from a consultative organization like Site2 that can guide them and assist them along the way to ensure the organization successfully meets all of their objectives,” stated Jonathan Halstuch, CTO of RackTop.
